I found an old journal of everyday quotes a few days ago. I was cleaning out my old bookcase this weekend and came across several frayed and dog-eared old books. The pages are yellowing and the spines are worn with thick creases, evidence of the numerous times little hands pulled these books down from the shelves to read the simple, yet wise and comforting words typed on those pages and to delight over the vibrantly colored illustrations that brought each story to life.
Among the books, I found my old journal of everyday quotes and Life's Little Instruction Book, Volume II by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. Here are some great quotations and "life truths" that I wanted to share with you:

A man who dares to waste one hour of time has not discovered the value of life.~ Charles Darwin
Do a good job because you want to, not because you have to. This puts you in charge instead of your boss. ~ H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
