Here are some inspirational thoughts that I put together over a couple of months. I shared a lot of them on Twitter and they were re-Tweeted so often, that I wanted to share them with all of you, too.
Inspirational Thoughts
There is a marked difference between success as our culture defines it and success that actually makes you happy.
What does being unhappy say about who you are? And, conversely, what would being happy mean about you?
If you think, “I need to have more money before I can be happy”, then the root of your thought is focused on what is missing.
Think of a negative situation. Ask yourself the question, “Am I OK with being happy about this?” You may discover that you are actually not OK with being happy. Let go of the benefits that unhappiness brings.
If you think, “I need to have more money before I can be happy”, then the root of your thought is focused on what is missing.
Create a compelling vision of what you want. A child should be able to describe it and draw a detailed picture of it in 10 minutes. Clarity leads to action.
There is always a positive and fulfilling way to grow and challenge yourself. Growth doesn’t have to be painful.
Information is a key component of transformation. If there is an area of your life that you want to work on, getting more information is first step.
Development comes about when we start getting new information; it enables us to imagine a different kind of life and results.
Personal development involves changing aspects of your life. The motivation to develop and grow are the result of new ideas about the life you can have.
When learning on the fly, failing quickly and often is one of the quickest ways to succeed.
Practice love in order to be the result that you want.
Happiness is a source of strength. Realize that happiness and strength are already inside you.
In hope’s presence, self pity and suffering are not possible. For success, it’s what you “do” with your unique talents that counts. The “who you know” part will follow.
To defeat fear, self pity, and sadness, remember your “being” – your purpose, love, kindness, and value.
When you feel the weight of the world is against you, remember your life’s purpose. It thwarts all obstacles.
Be a person who adds value. Give love, kindness, knowledge, and understanding.
The way I respond to life is intrinsically tied to how I view my life’s purpose.
How I am “being” is the ultimate determinant of the amount of joy I have in life.
Laugh often. Its your heart’s way of singing.
Awaken the love that sleeps within you.
Love each moment. It’s all we have.
Well, that is the end of my list of inspirational thoughts and I hope you found it, well….inspirational
